Edohahah stands for “European Day Of Humoristic Actions Hilariously Attacking Homelessness” and it will be celebrated on March 18th, starting slowly in 2026. Why March 18th? Because it’s Global Recycling Day. Why humoristic actions? Because war against homelessness is too serious a matter to be left to the fatalistic professionals. And many revolutions and other societal upheavals have been fueled by humorous initiatives: a highly effective communication tool… Not to mention the sense of humor of some homeless persons, as a surviving strategy…

Edohahah is an initiative of the Syndicat des immenses (a Brussels-based grassroot organisation since 2019) and Feantsa.

You want to enrich this website, in whatever European language? Two conditions: your contribution must be somehow directed against homelessness and it must be funny (in the broadest sense), at least according to you. Send it to info@edohahah.eu

For this launch year 2026, the focus will be on a drawing test (contribute before March 13rd!) and on the edohahah-evening on March 18th during the Immense festival in Brussels!
